President of Beni Suef University is conducting the first operation of the "Nour al-Ayoun"
Dr. Mansour Mansour, President of Beni Suef University, inaugurated the "Noor El Oyoun" initiative to conduct white water and lens implants at the Beni Suef Hospital in cooperation with Rotary clubs. The event was attended by Dr. Hani Abdel-Gaber, Governor of Beni Suef in the presence of Dr. Abdel Nasser Hamida, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health, Mr.Ahmed Hamdi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Solidarity, Dr. Huda Ragab, Director of Al-Ramad Hospital, Ms. Amal Safwat, President of Rotary Club Beni Suef; and the presidents and members of Rotary Club in the governorates of the Republic.
The President of the University stated that the project coincides with the "Noor Hayat" Presidential Initiative and the State's directives. The project represents the true concept of community participation, achieving comprehensive development, improving the level of health services and ending the waiting lists for surgical procedures. That the State has paid the greatest attention to the fight against such diseases.
Professor Mansour Hassan expressed the readiness of the university to contribute to conducting a comprehensive survey of the villages of the province and the work of medical convoys to conduct operations for the poor most in need of such operations, by professors and ophthalmologists in the university hospital in cooperation with the Ministry of Health and Al-Ramad Hospital, and participate in the completion of (2000) case within Just two months.
The president of the university himself inspected the first cases, which will undergo operations within the initiative, "Noor eyes," and he initiated the first surgical operation, "white water" of an old lady in the hospital Ophthalmology.
