Beni Suef University President opens the first e-learning conference at the level of Egyptian universities

Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, opened the activities of the first conference at the level of Egyptian universities for the blended learning center under the slogan "The Future of E-Learning - Vision for Development", organized by the University's Blended Learning Center in collaboration with the League of Arab States and the Scientific Research Academy and the Blended Learning centers at the level of the Republic, under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Khalid Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education, Advisor / Farag Al-Agami, representing the League of Arab States and Dr. Assem Salama, Deputy Governor, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Mohamed Khedr, Vice- President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Khaled Abbas Helmi, Director of the Blended Learning Center.

 The conference aims at shedding light on the philosophy of e-learning and distance learning, spreading the culture of e-learning, how to rationalize and invest it, in addition to adopting the initiative of transformation towards digital education to support the progress of student and teacher and holding a number of specialized and general training courses on e- learning. 

 As well as discussing administrative problems, setting flexible criteria to accommodate the needs of labor market on the one hand, and community culture and individual aspirations on the other hand, activating the university education plan to serve the community and finding a legitimate scientific and practical channel linking scientific institutions and specialized research centers with state facilities and investment projects and providing expertise to small business owners. 

Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan said that the conference will focus on e-learning in the Arab world between reality and expectations, e-learning, development of the educational process, scientific and technological research, e-learning and human development, e-learning and quality standards and the use of ICT in improving teaching and learning.
