President of Beni Suef University announces university's ranking; "18" locally and "62" at the Arab world level according to Spanish classification Webometrics
Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, announced that the university has ranked 18 out of 65 Egyptian universities and ranked 62 among1150 Arab universities in the Arab world. It also ranked (2720) out of (25) thousand universities worldwide, according to the Spanish classification Webometrics of Universities , January 2019.
The university president pointed out that this classification is issued every six months annually, during January and July, and it is based on universities' portal websites. The evaluation criteria is divided into four sections: the size of websites of university portal, its pages, the available files, number of reference citations on Google Scholar for researchers and faculty members, and the number of scientific researches cited internationally in twenty six scientific and research fields.
Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan explained that the University's strategy aims to maintain and increase the rates of presence in international classifications and the application of its standards, and to support scientific research and international publication in all scientific fields.
