Beni Suef University among the top 200 international universities in the 2019 classification of emerging economies
Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, announced the inclusion of the university among the top 200 international universities in the classification of emerging economies of 2019, as it got an international ranking of 148 and the fourth ranking at the level of Egyptian universities.
According to the university's president, this classification is made annually for the universities of the emerging economies according to twelve criteria, which are in five basic groups to evaluate the performance of universities; teaching, scientific research, references, and each proportion of them (30%). International cooperation (7.5%) and the return from industry (2.5%).
Professor Mansour Hassan explained that the university's inclusion in advanced levels of international classifications is due to the University's policy and keenness to develop the educational and research process and to motivate researchers and support them. This will increase the international publishing rates and the University's keenness to hold more cooperation protocols with universities and research centers locally and internationally.
