President of Beni Suef University signs a cooperation protocol with Titan Cement in the field of skills development
Dr. Mansoor Hassan, President of Beni Suef University and Eng. Mohamed Nabil, on behalf of Eng. Amany Shehata, Head of Human Resources Sector, Titan Egypt Cement Group signed a joint cooperation protocol to support the project of qualifying students of the Faculty of Science in the program of academic and practical skills development. In the presence of Prof. Dr. Hamada Mohammed Mahmoud, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Science for Education and Students, and Mr. Tony Osman, Director of Public Relations Department.
The university president explained that the protocol comes within the framework of the university's plan to rehabilitate the youth of graduates and support the partnership between the university and the civil society organizations to prepare and train students on modern technologies. He added that the factory will provide specialized experts to train students during the holidays in fields of industrial security and environment, project management, human resources and individual skills, quality management and ISO certification systems, equipment used in factory facilities, accounting, sales and marketing.
Eng. Mohamed Nabil pointed out that the group will provide training for students through the company's specialists in their fields, and provide the scientific material for students on CD or electronic cloud, pointing out that the program targets undergraduate and pre-bachelor students during the half-year vacation, The students should submit a report (case study) as a practical study of what has been studied and presented to the university administration, the concerned faculty members, representatives of the management of Beni Suef Cement Company (Titan Egypt) With civil governorate.
Mr. Tony Osman added that students after the program will have acquired a lot of skills and technical and practical expertise which will help them significantly after graduation to successfully join the functions of the consulting offices and industrial bodies in view of the expertise and skills gained from the program, pointing out that the conclusion of the protocol comes within the framework of The directives of Eng. Khalid Badawi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Group which is interested in continuous communication with the Egyptian universities.
