Statement by the President of the University of Beni Suef on the treatment of the student Ibram Ashraf Morris

 The son of the university Ibram Ashraf Moris, a student at the Faculty of Law, was hit by a cancerous tumor in the lymph glands. The student went to the National Institute of Oncology in Cairo and entered the economic department for treatment.The National Institute of Oncology then addressed the The university, asking the university to transfer the sum of 50,000 Egyptian pounds, And because the list of medical management at the university does not allow the payment of more than 25% of the cost of treatment, Professor / Dr. Mansour Hassan University President quickly ordered studying the case to find a possible way to fully support the student, and  he said that the University Hospital in Beni Suef  is ready to provide full treatment for the student As an inherent right guaranteed by the state, to save the time of the proceedings and to reduce the alienation of the student and to reduce the high cost repeated.

The president of the university Communicated with the Student's  family to follow up developments and overcome administrative obstacles, stressing that the university does not give up its son either inside Beni Suef University Hospital or the National Institute of Oncology.

At the request of the mother of the student to continue the survival of her son inside the Oncology Institute, the President of the University Communicated with the Director of the Institute by telephone to exempt the students from the burdens of paperwork and approvals to be done directly from the university president. In order not to disrupt the treatment of the student, so as not to be a material cost obstacle, was coordinated between the President of the University and the Minister of Higher Education to approve the support of the University and find a way to pay the required amounts.

Professor Mansour Hassan, the university's president, said he would spare no effort to support Ibram: "Ibram is my son how to abandon him?" I am prepared to do anything that alleviates his physical and mental pain, whether by reducing the paper bureaucracy or by providing material support.
