President of University of Beni Suef: Establishment of a department of soft tourism at the National Institute of the Elderly

      The Board of Beni Suef University, headed by Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of the University, in its session No. (161) held on 28/7/2018, approved the establishment of the Department of Tourism for the Elderly and Persons with Disabilities at the National Institute of Elderly Sciences for the first time in Egyptian universities.

     The university president said that the department aims at conducting advanced research in the field of tourism and hotels for the elderly, conducting specialized training courses in tourism, hotels and elderly care, conducting studies on hotel methods, hospitality and food care for the elderly. In the same field, and all related to the hospitality process of services and care and hotel to improve the quality of life and provide the best care for them.
It is worth mentioning that the department accepts graduates of colleges and institutes of tourism and hotels and its equivalent in the Arab Republic of Egypt.
