President of Beni-Suef University: Activating President Sisi's initiative to eliminate waiting lists at university hospital
Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni-Suef University, announced that the university hospital will join in activating the initiative of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to eliminate waiting lists for critical and urgent surgeries since the beginning of this month.
The university President said that the hospital started the initiative in several specialties, including ophthalmology, brain and nerve surgery, heart and chest surgery, orthopaedic surgery and the catheter section, which was provided with a new device for heart patients. The department started a number of catheter operations with an average of 10 cases per day as a preliminary step to increase the number of catheter operations at the hospital, pointing out that within six months, critical situations will be completed pursuant to the directives of President of the Republic.
