For the first time in Egyptian universities .. Establishing Department for Rehabilitative Nursing at the National Institute of Gerontology Science at Beni-Suef University
The council of Beni-Suef University, under the chairmanship of Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of University, approved during its session No. (161) held on 28/7/2018 establishing a Department for Rehabilitative Nursing at the National Institute of Gerontology Science at Beni-Suef University.
The university president explained that the purpose of establishing the department is to treat and rehabilitate the elderly and people with special needs, and provide them with various services at the level of assessment, planning and rehabilitation care at hospitals, nursing homes and specialized clinics, as well as psychological, mental, social and environmental rehabilitation for the elderly and people with special needs.
The rehabilitation process requires a specialized nursing team to deal with chronic diseases such as Alzheimer's disease, and all kinds of paralysis.
