Recommendations of the Conference of Elderly

     The Board of the University of Beni Suef, headed by Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of the University, at its 159th Session held on 30/5/2018, approved the announcement of the recommendations of the Second Conference of the National Institute for Seniors at Beni Suef University under the title "The Elderly Crown on our heads, Held in the presence of a group of researchers and specialists in various fields.
    The conference included (40) research in all fields of research, scientific and medical according to the conference's various axes (media, medical, sports, information technology, service, social, psychological and technical).
The results of research and studies in the conference resulted in the following recommendations:
1. The establishment of villages for the elderly on the level of the Republic in general and the village for the elderly in Beni Suef in particular, similar to the world villages.
2. Establishment of a hospital for the elderly at Beni Suef University
3. The establishment of new sections of the Institute in line with the requirements of the times
4. Work on joining the Institute with all local, regional and international committees and bodies
5. Work on the speed of issuance and declaration of the Egyptian document for the rights of the elderly, in preparation for the declaration of the Arab document on the same subject.
6. Establishment of the Arab Union for the Elderly under the League of Arab States.
7. Follow-up of the Institute for all procedures that are concerned with the rapid establishment of the Supreme Council for the Elderly in the Arab Republic of Egypt under the auspices of the Presidency of the Council of the Republic and the Presidency of the Council of Ministers and Parliament as a supervisory board with powers and authorities enabling them to provide various forms of care for them (economic, health, Social, recreational, psychological, etc.) in accordance with the provisions of the Constitution. It includes among its members the Ministry of Higher Education represented by the Dean of the National Institute for the Elderly and the corresponding sections in the various Egyptian universities, the Ministry of Health, Social Solidarity, Education and tourism, and other ministries, bodies, institutions and specialized national councils such as the National Women's and National Disability and the National Human Rights in addition to the membership of civil society associations related.
