President of Beni Suef University: Scientific research team wins three international awards for invention to cure lung cancer
Prof. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, announced that the research team, Heba Farouk Salem Abdullah Dean of Faculty of Pharmacy Amira Murad Hussein Abu Yousef and Prof. Mohammed Abdullah Hamzawy and Dr. Sameh Abdel-Moneim, assistant professor at the Faculty of Pharmacy, have won three international awards for the invention of nanotechnology to deliver topical thimosolomide by inhalation to treat lung cancer.
The president of the university said that the awards received by the research team are the silver medal in the Geneva International Innovation Exhibition, which was held in Geneva, the honorary degree from King Abdul Aziz University in Saudi Arabia and the honorary diploma from the Romanian University of Sibiu.
