President of Beni Suef University is witnessing the "Waste to Energy" conference and inspecting a number of advanced laboratories at the faculty higher studies of advanced sciences

Dr. Mansoor Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, witnessed the opening of a conference titled "Waste to Energy" organized by the Department of Environmental Sciences and Industrial Development at the Faculty of Advanced Studies of Advanced Sciences. He lectured in the presence of professors and researchers from Egyptian universities and foreign universities. Prof. Aftar Mutharrow (Professor at York University in England) Prof. Irene Samy, Professor at Nile University. The President also inspected a number of advanced laboratories in the college.

The president of the university explained that the conference topics revolve around how to take advantage of the waste and transform it into energy, which includes waste of food and how to convert it to energy, corrosion inhibitors, the feasibility of using fuel in the cement industry, waste management and sustainability, carbon electrodes derived from waste for energy storage systems. The conference reviewed the most important means and modern technology used in this field.
It is worth mentioning that on the sidelines of the conference, an exhibition of various environmental images was organized, which shows the development of methods used in the utilization of waste and its transformation into energy.
