Beni Suef University receives the Fulbright Authority to organize an introductory seminar on scholarships and missions
Beni Suef University, headed by Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of University, received Dr. Magy Naseef, Executive Director of Fulbright Authority, and Aser Hany, Fulbright Program Senior Officer, in addition to a representative from the Ministry of Higher Education to provide the Authority programs for postgraduate students and faculty members. The meeting was attended by Dr. Fatma Hassan, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, Dr. Iman Gad Kandil, Executive Director of the Office of International Cooperation and External Relations of the University.
The university president said that the visit aims to hold a seminar on how to Submit in Fulbright Scholarship for research and study in the United States of America "for faculty members, assistant professors, lecturers and postgraduate students to conduct their researches in the master's and doctorate stages at various American universities.
Dr. Iman Gad Qandil, Executive Director of the Office of International Cooperation and External Relations of the University, said that applicants must receive 550 marks in TOEFL test or 6.5 in IELTS to measure the level of language. The applicants also must prepare a research plan with new, distinct and modern ideas.
The seminar was attended by deans of the colleges, deputies, heads of departments and a number of faculty members and the supporting body.
