University Board of Beni Suef approves the list of the College of Agriculture

       The Board of Beni Suef University, headed by Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of the University, at its 156th session held on 28/3/2018, approved the list of Agriculture Faculty entitled "Scientific Journal of Agricultural Sciences".

        For his part, the university president stressed the importance of the Faculty of Agriculture in the university, especially that a large number of residents of the province are working in agriculture. The province is characterized by large areas planted with medicinal and aromatic plants and flowers, which account for 40% of the production of the Arab Republic of Egypt.

         The Faculty of Agriculture has won the funding of a research project worth 1 million pounds funded by the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology for the development of some strategic crops, "wheat and maize" to withstand the lack of water and nitrogen in the newly reclaimed lands.
