President of Beni Suef University : Transmission of rumors and lies through social Networking Sites harms our country interest
Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, held a meeting with the Dean and faculty members of the Faculty of Mass Communication and members of media office of the university to emphasize the dangerous role played by rumors, misleading messages and lies that are not based on real evidence of some social networking sites.The participants expressed solidarity with the statement issued by the Attorney General in this regard to protect the supreme interests of the nation and to immunize people from the negative psychological effects of those lies
The specialists stressed on the importance of activating the role of social responsibility of mass media.
