President of Beni Suef University : "Get ready for elections ... your vote is important" Seminar at the Faculty of Mass Communication.
Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University and the supervision of Prof. Dr. Alaa Abdel Halim, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Dr. Mohamed Zain, Dean of the Faculty of Mass Communication. The Anti-Violence Against Women Unit organized a seminar entitled "Get ready for elections ... your vote is important" to raise awareness of the importance of participation in the presidential elections scheduled for next March.
Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan, university president, said that the political awareness is an integral part of the university educational process and voting in the elections is a constitutional entitlement for every citizen in the country regardless of any political or partisan trends or specific people and the role of the university in this context is to explain the correct concepts of political action.
The seminar began with a minute of mourning for the martyrs of Egypt from the armed forces and the police.It was lectured by journalist Samar al-Dessouki, editor of Hawa magazine, writer Ahmed Ezzat Madani, member of the Union of writers of Egypt, chairman of Fayoum branch and Beni Suef, journalist Nawal Mustafa, Narmeen Mohamed, Director of the National Council for Women in Beni Suef, Prof. Rania Yahya and Dr. Wahad Samir, members of the National Council for Women and a large number of students.
