Forming specialized medical committees for students with disabilities to obtain certificates of exemption from military services

Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, announced that the university formed medical committees at university hospital in all specialties of Bone,  Neurosurgery, Ophthalmology, psychiatry, nose, ear and throat to examine students with disabilities to decrease their burden concerning submitting in military service and obtaining certificates of exemption from the service.
The University President noted that this comes within the framework of the implementation of the strategic plan of the University and in order to activate the initiative of the President of the Republic; 2018 is a year for persons with disabilities. The University cooperates with all the bodies at various levels including cooperation between the Ministry of Defense and the University. The formation of the medical committee at the university hospital to identify university students with disabilities to obtain the certificate of exemption from military service, all under the supervision of the leadership of the military PDF and the Department of recruitment and mobilization in the armed forces and the Department of Military Education at the university.
Mansour Hassan explained that this came within the framework of community service and the role of armed forces to support all sects and classes of people.
