The first comprehensive audiovisual library for people with visual disabilities at Beni Suef University
Prof. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, opened the halls of the Samaabis library, which includes 10 cassette cassettes for recording audio tapes, recording lectures for students with visual disabilities, 29 laptops, and a collection of books that were printed in a way. Braille has more than (250) books with (92) titles.
He pointed out that this comes within the framework of the university's integrated strategic plan to promote the services of persons with disabilities and in line with the 2018 year is considered for persons with disabilities.
Through this library, the blind students of the university will be able to perform the exams themselves by themselves by teaching them how to deal with the computer through the speaking program and their examination within these committees who have obtained computer courses in preparation for next year's tests for all students in E-committees in the laboratory of the library, in order to activate the University's plan to transform it into an electronic university.
Mansour also pointed out that the university is working to help its students with disabilities to complete their educational process better and provide distinctive services such as audiovisual laboratories and technology services to them and to prepare a site that uses sign language and voice services and a training plan for their clients and fruitful cooperation between the university and civil society organizations in this field.
