Beni Suef University: The first university in Egyptian universities trains students, staff and faculty on sign language skills

        Prof. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, has prepared a specialized course in deaf language skills for the deaf and hard of hearing class for students, staff members and faculty members of the various university faculties. He will teach professors from the ENT Department of Medicine and the Department of Psychiatry , In addition to sign language specialists, with the aim of making it easier for university students, parents or university students with hearing disabilities.

      The President of the University stressed that Beni Suef University is one of the leading universities in the field of people with disabilities. The university has the first college specialized in special needs sciences and a special unit that deals with disability. "The sign language works to connect deaf people as people with disabilities and members of society without hearing disabilities," he said. "This coincides with the initiative of President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, which he launched in 2018 for people with disabilities.
