President of Beni-Suef University: Continuing to development, one million and 244 thousand pounds to buy four artificial respirators for university hospital from the university's own resources
Prof. Dr./ Amin Lotfy, President of Beni-Suef University, announced the purchase of four artificial respirators for the university hospital with a cost of one million and 244 thousand pounds from the University's own resources, in order to provide a distinguished medical service to Beni-Suef community and develop the medical system in the university .
For his part, Dr. Amin Lotfy said that the University spares no effort in providing the university hospital with all necessary needs and medical equipment. Last week, the hospital witnessed opening of the second phase of the new expansions and the addition of 87 intensive care beds. pointing out that the equipment purchased in the last few days amounted to 190 medical devices for the department of Pathology, Surgery, Neurosurgery, Ophthalmology, Ophthalmology, Ear, Cardiology, Thoracic Surgery, and operations .
Dr. Mansour Hassan, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, said that the new beds are distributed on several sections including 5 beds for the stroke unit, 14 intensive care beds for the chest section, 10 middle care beds for the internal medicine department, 8 middle care beds for the endemic section, 4 medium care beds for obstetric and gynecology section, 2 middle care beds for Plastic Surgery section, 16 beds for emergency care, 6 beds for children care, 4 beds for intensive care unit, 12 beds for heart care, 2 beds for cardiovascular and chest surgery .
It is worth mentioning that the university also received a donation from Mr. Ahmed Yousef Ahmed Sulaiman to buy three artificial respirators for the university hospital for 885 thousand Egyptian pounds, seven artificial respirators purchased during one week
