President of Beni-Suef University receives Professor of Mathematics at Delaware State University

Prof. Dr. / Amin Lotfy, President of Beni-Suef University received at his office Prof. Dr. / Mazen Mohamed Shahin, Professor of Mathematics at Delaware State University, USA, to discuss the possibility of cooperation in the scientific field and the exchange of research programs between the two universities, this was in the presence of Prof. Dr. / Tarif Shawky, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research and Dr. / Iman Kandil, Director of the Office of International Cooperation and External Relations.
Prof. Amin Lotfy said that this visit is an important step in the way of research cooperation between the two universities, stressing that the strategy adopted by Beni-Suef University is "Towards a research university." The university seeks to be evaluated on the basis of scientific research. The university adopts academic standards that correspond to the developmental needs in accordance with the strategic plan of the university within the framework of the country's orientations. These standards are considered a national and academic reference that ensure graduation of generations capable of competition.

The university president added that the educational institutions in general and universities in particular are houses of expertise and a basic pillar of progress in various fields as well as their important role in solving the problems that plague society.
