President of Beni-Suef University in the Conference of Youth and development industry in Upper Egypt: corruption and terrorism against development

Prof. Dr. / Amin Lotfy, Rector of Beni-Suef University said that Beni-Suef University is the largest university in terms of the number of colleges and it has a research city includes seven institutes and they will be 24 Institutes during 2020, some of which is unique of its kind, noting that corruption and terrorism are the most prominent variables that retard development process, praising the Faculty of Arts, which has seen major expansion during the Deanship of Dr. / Guda Mabrouk in addition to organizing the largest number of student activities at the university, this came during the second Student Conference of the Faculty of Arts entitled " Youth and development industry in Upper Egypt " in the presence of Prof. Dr. / Mohamed Fawzy, Vice Dean for Education affairs and Dr. / Wael Tunahy, Secretary-General of the National Youth Council.

University president said that the title of the conference shows university trend towards development, adding that the role of the university is not only to prepare graduates for the labor market in different disciplines but also to build the mentality of university youth through imparting many of the skills and knowledge that qualifies them for industry development in their community, through student activities organized by University throughout the year.

He added the university was keen on the participation of students in all youth conferences organized by the Presidency of the Republic in Sharm el-Sheikh, Cairo and Aswan in order to move the vision of the state about taking advantage of the energies of youth and employ them in development, as well as their participation in the opening of some national projects with the President of the Republic.

The Rector called students to attend the conference organized by the university about the fight of corruption from a student perspective in the twenty-sixth of Feb., which aims to capitalize on the young people's ideas about ways to combat corruption by major contest in which students submit the working papers and scientific researches showing their ideas.
