President of Beni-Suef University : 256 thousand frequent visitors to University Hospital during the last year

Prof. Dr. / Amin Lotfy, President of Beni-Suef University announced that the number of frequent visitors to the university hospital in 2016 is 256098 cases spread out over various outpatient departments of the hospital.

Prof. Dr. / Amin Lotfy explained that the University Hospital has seen a boom recently, the number of ICU beds were increased to 68 beds distributed on ten sections as well as 16 beds for emergency department care, eight new medical units were established; MRI Unit, brain and nerve surgery unit , Unit of tests and research on brain and nerves functions, Gastrointestinal Endoscopy Unit, binoculars chest Unit , ICSI Unit , Unit of diagnosis and treatment of retinal disease and the unit of gene analysis.

 Prof. Dr. / Alaa Abdel Halim, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development pointed out that the cases recorded frequency on 33 internal departments at the hospital, a number of sections have acquired on large numbers, the Department of Hematology has recorded 18,074 and the Department of Dermatology has recorded 61,208.
