President of Beni Suef University: Establishment of the National Institute of Elderly Science, the educational institution No. 29 at University

Prof. Dr. / Amin Lotfy, President of Beni Suef University announced about the approval of the Supreme Council of Universities on establishing the National Institute of Elderly Science at Beni Suef University, this institution is considered No. 29 among colleges and institutes of the university after the completion of human and material ingredients for it.

Prof. Dr. / Amin Lotfy, explained that the Institute aims to be a distinct national, regional and international center in the field of elderly researches and services and always respond to ongoing changes in the educational knowledge and methods of care for the elderly as well as setting a national strategy for scientific research in the field of elderly in addition to training goals of the Institute to prepare required cadres.

He pointed that there are research objectives of the institute including conducting scientific studies to the elderly in Egypt, Arab and foreign countries and the organization of scientific publishing methods in the field of elderly. The Institute includes Medical care Department, Department of Nursing Studies, feeding and care Department, Department of Psychology, Department of social Studies, Department of physical therapy, Department of art Studies, Department of physical Education and recreation, Department of Occupational therapy, Department of Engineering and environmental Studies.
