The Faculty of Nursing at Beni-Suef University Organizes an Awareness Seminar on “The Role of Effective Communication in Improving the Quality of Care” in Cooperation with the Faculty of Mass Communication

Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of Beni-Suef University, the Faculty of Nursing, in cooperation with the Faculty of Mass Communication, organized an educational seminar entitled “The Role of Effective Communication in Improving the Quality of Nursing Care.” The seminar was held as part of the University's commitment to strengthening academic cooperation among its faculties and organizing awareness activities that contribute to improving the quality of healthcare services and enhancing professional awareness.

The seminar was held under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Hanan El-Zeblawy Hassan, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, and Prof. Dr. Mamdouh Makawy, Dean of the Faculty of Mass Communication, with organizational supervision by Dr. Sherine El-Sayed Sherif, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Nursing for Community Service and Environmental Development. The seminar featured a lecture delivered by Dr. Mohamed El-Sayed Hussein, Lecturer at the Department of Radio and Television, Faculty of Mass Communication.

The University President emphasized the central importance of communication skills and effective human and professional interaction in improving the quality of healthcare services provided to patients and enhancing the quality of nursing care.

Prof. Dr. Tarek Ali also noted that the seminar included a scientific lecture presenting distinguished academic and training content on the mechanisms and principles of effective communication and how to apply them in nursing workplaces to improve the quality of healthcare and build strong bridges of trust between medical teams and patients.

For her part, Prof. Dr. Hanan El-Zeblawy Hassan pointed out that this event is part of a series of awareness and training activities organized by the Faculty of Nursing in cooperation with various faculties of Beni-Suef University, with the aim of reinforcing the University's role in community service and preparing students to practice their profession with a high level of competence.
