Beni-Suef University Acting President Attends Graduation Ceremony of the Third Cohort of the Ministry of Awqaf Imams at the Egyptian Military Academy

Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of Beni-Suef University, attended the graduation ceremony of the third cohort of the Ministry of Awqaf Imams, designated as the “Imam Hassan Al-Attar Cohort,” which was held at the Egyptian Military Academy. The ceremony was attended by His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, along with a number of ministers, senior state officials, and leaders of religious and educational institutions.
Dr. Tarek Ali expressed his pride in the outstanding level demonstrated by the graduates, praising the significant efforts invested in implementing a comprehensive training program that combines both academic and practical preparation. He noted that the program contributes to qualifying imams who are capable of fulfilling their religious and national responsibilities with competence and professionalism, while effectively addressing contemporary intellectual challenges.
The Acting President emphasized that investing in the development of public awareness is one of the fundamental pillars of sustainable development. He highlighted the vital role played by imams and religious preachers in strengthening national belonging and promoting sound religious understanding within society. He further noted that this mission represents one of the Egyptian state’s key priorities in fostering enlightened moderate thought and confronting extremist ideologies.
During the ceremony, graduates who successfully completed the training program were honored in recognition of their dedication and achievements throughout their period of study and training, and in preparation for carrying out their religious and national mission in the best possible manner.
