Beni Suef University opens the "Creativity is an Idea" exhibition at the Faculty of Applied Arts to support student innovation and connect graduates with the labor market.

Dr. Tarek Ali, Acting President of Beni Suef University, announced the opening of the "Creativity is an Idea" exhibition of student works at the Faculty of Applied Arts Which was held this February. Under the supervision of Dr. Hamada Mohamed, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, Dr. Abu Al-Hassan Abdel-Mawgoud for Community Service Affairs, Dr. Diaa El-Din Mustafa, Dean of the College, and Dr. Hossam El-Hawary, General Coordinator of Student Activities

This came in the presence of Dr. Gihan Fouad, Vice Dean of the College for Education and Student Affairs, Dr. Fatima Ahmed, Vice Dean of the College for Community Service and Environmental Development, Dr. Marwa Mamdouh, Vice Dean of the College for Graduate Studies and Research, Dr. Narmin Atef, Activities Coordinator, Dr. Sherine Othman, Head of the Spinning and Weaving Department, and Mr. Ahmed Sayed, Director of Youth Welfare, in addition to a group of faculty members and students. The exhibition included the work of students from the preparatory year and the departments of Spinning and Weaving, Industrial Design, Textile Printing, and Interior Design, in addition to the creations of graduate students

Dr. Tarek Ali pointed out that the university prioritizes nurturing talented and creative students in its strategy for developing their character. He emphasized that the "Creativity is an Idea" exhibition embodies Beni Suef University's pioneering role in supporting student projects and transforming academic ideas into tangible artistic and material products. He explained that the university strongly supports student activity plans for the second semester, given their significant impact on shaping students' identity and opening up avenues for innovation, in line with the state's direction towards supporting creative industries and connecting graduates with the requirements of comprehensive development

Dr. Hamada Mohamed expressed his thanks and appreciation to the college administration and those in charge of the activity for their efforts in bringing the exhibition to this honorable level, praising the amount of effort made by the students and faculty members in the spinning, weaving and design departments, stressing that “Youth Welfare” and the academic coordinators continue to provide all facilities to support such events


For his part, Dr. Diaa El-Din Mustafa, Dean of the College, explained that the exhibition represents a professional platform for showcasing the students' latent talents and providing them with an opportunity to present their artistic work to specialists. He emphasized that the rich diversity of techniques used in the exhibition reflects the quality of the educational process at the college and the students' ability to keep pace with the latest global design trends. He added that the college is working diligently to provide all means to link academic study with practical application to ensure the graduation of qualified individuals capable of competing strongly in the local and international labor market
