Introductory Session on Job Market Skills for Students and Graduates of the Faculty of Social Work at Beni Suef University

Under the patronage of Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, the Faculty of Social Work organized an introductory session on job market skills for students and graduates. The event was supervised by Dr. Abu Al-Hassan Abdel-Mawgoud, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Dr. Hendawy Abdel-Lahi, Dean of the Faculty, in coordination with the University Career Development Center and the Faculty’s Alumni Unit.

The session featured a lecture by the University Career Development Center team, attended by Dr. Mohamed Saad El-Sherbiny, Vice Dean for Community Service, along with faculty members, teaching assistants, and students.

Key topics discussed included:

  • The importance of career planning

  • Job interview skills

  • Effective job search strategies

  • The significance of professional development in enhancing students' personal and professional lives

The session emphasized how acquiring modern skills enables students to adapt to rapid changes in the job market and keep up with new technologies and trends. It highlighted the necessity of developing personal skills alongside academic qualifications to meet the functional and technical requirements of today’s job market.
