Under the patronage of Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, fourth-year students at the Faculty of Technology and Education developed and beautified Hall A106 with the latest architectural styles, under the supervision of Dr. Atef Fadl, Dean of the Faculty, Dr. Essam Hamad, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Education and Students Affairs, Dr. Ahmed El-Sayed, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, Dr. Ahmed Siddiq, Dr. Ahmed Khamis, project supervisors, and Dr. Abdel Hamid Wazir, Head of the Department of Precision Instruments Technology.
For his part, Dr. Mansour Hassan praised the efforts of the students, who presented a set of design and beautification proposals for the hall. These proposals were based on scientific foundations aimed at creating a suitable environment for learning, based on what the students studied in their specialization. He also praised the creative approaches of the project supervisors in improving and beautifying the college, through rehabilitating and maintaining the classrooms and coordinating the college sites in a cheerful manner, which contributes to providing a distinguished scientific environment. The electrical system was rehabilitated to suit the requirements of the educational process, in addition to painting the walls and seats with colors that enhance concentration and comfort.
In addition, significant architectural improvements were made to lighting and ventilation, such as installing energy-saving LED lighting, repairing windows and maintaining damaged fans to ensure good ventilation. The hall was also equipped with a sound system that is appropriate for its size, taking into account the harmony and consistency between the colors of the walls, floors and seats, which enhances students’ ability to concentrate and learn in a suitable environment.
The university president stressed that the students’ participation in beautifying the college is one of the important matters that contribute to spreading team spirit among students and preserving the college’s furniture, in addition to discovering students’ talents and exchanging creative ideas. He pointed out that this work increases students’ love for the college and preserving it, stressing the university’s keenness to support innovative ideas that help implement the practical aspect, which is positively reflected in providing students with the skills and techniques that enable them to work after graduation.
