Beni Suef National University students on a field visit to the Mental Health Hospital

Under the auspices of Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of the University, Beni Suef National University organized a field visit for students of the Clinical Psychology Program to the Mental Health Hospital in Beni Suef, under the supervision of Dr. Abu Al-Hassan Abdel Mawgoud, Vice President of the University for Academic Affairs, Dr. Rasha Adel, Dean of the Arts and Humanities Sector, and Dr. Qayati Ashour, Director of the Program.
Dr. Mansour Hassan stressed the university's keenness and interest in the practical and field aspect of students and linking the academic curricula that students receive with the practical aspect, which clearly contributes to training students practically to keep pace with the labor market through developing skills, acquiring field experiences, and seeing what is happening so that there is no gap between the two sides, as well as enabling students of the department to master the applications of the scientific method in the field of social psychology and understanding the philosophy of its cognitive dimensions, in order to achieve understanding and interpretation of human behavior by conducting guided scientific visits.
For his part, Dr. Qayati Ashour explained that the visit provided the students with the opportunity to get to know the different departments of the hospital closely, watch psychologists evaluate patients using psychological tests, attend psychotherapy sessions, and learn about the integrated roles of psychologists, psychotherapists, physicians, and psychiatric nurses in providing psychological care to patients.
