In the presence of artist Mohamed Sobhi... President of Beni Suef University witnesses the activities of the Human Building Symposium "Art and Culture"

Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, witnessed today the activities of the Human Building Symposium "Art and Culture", which was organized by the General Administration of Youth Care, in the presence of Dr. Tarek Ali, Vice President of the University for Graduate Studies and Research, artist Mohamed Sobhi, director Mohamed Mubarak, Dr. Hanan Suleiman, member of the Senate, a number of deans of faculties ,faculty members, and Mr. Mohamed Selim, Secretary General of the University, under the supervision of Captain Mohamed Farouk, Director of the General Administration of Youth Care, and organized by Students for Egypt, amidst a remarkable presence of faculty members and students.
For his part, the university president welcomed the guests, thanking them for accepting the invitation and their keenness to participate in presenting the educational symposium, which comes within the activities of the presidential initiative “ Bedaya A New Beginning to Build the Egyptian Person”. He  stressed the university’s keenness to host prominent and influential public figures in society, to educate university youth and develop their awareness in various areas of life, pointing out that the symposium sheds light on the extent to which art is linked to building and forming the human being, as building the human being is one of the most important axes of community development through the dissemination of fine art, as it is considered a major element in building the individual’s personality and acquiring behavioral patterns through his interaction with various arts.
Artist Mohamed Sobhi spoke about how to build a person culturally and artistically, stressing the importance of culture and art as being among the most prominent tributaries for building peoples. He pointed out that building awareness is one of the most important elements of development. He also spoke about sustainable development and its correct concept, which means that you live today and are confident that you will serve future generations, pointing out that the role of art in changing society is by showing the positives and not the negatives in artistic works.
It is worth noting that Dr. Mansour Hassan presented the university shield to the artist Mohamed Sobhi and the director Ali Mubarak in appreciation of their keenness to participate in the cultural symposium. The event also included an open dialogue between the students and the artist Mohamed Sobhi, which included many diverse questions from the students.
