Faculty of Education , Beni Suef University receives the management team of the outstanding students school STEM to discuss ways of cooperation

Under the auspices of Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of the University, the Faculty of Education, Beni Suef University, received the management team of the outstanding students school (STEM) in Beni Suef to discuss ways of cooperation between the two parties. This came under the supervision of Dr. Osama Mahmoud Qarni, Dean of the Faculty, Dr. Ahmed Fikry Bahansawy, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Environmental Affairs and Community Service, Dr. Mohamed Mustafa Taha, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Education and Students Affairs, Dr. Ahmed Badawi, Dean of the Faculty for Postgraduate Studies and Research, and the STEM School management team.
Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of the University, stressed the importance of enhancing practical education that contributes to provide educational opportunities for students of the School of Excellence through workshops, field experiments, and research projects organized by the Faculty of Education. As well as activating the societal role of the Faculty of Education by providing its expertise in designing curricula, which helps improve and enhance the current curricula in the School of Excellence. This is to meet the needs of learners in the fields of science, technology, engineering and mathematics. Also, the contribution of the Faculty of Education in training teachers of the School of Excellence in new and innovative teaching methods, which helps improve the quality of education, and encourages scientific research through joint research. This enables students and professors to conduct joint research in STEM fields.
Pointing out the role of the Faculty of Education in providing career guidance counseling through the contribution of faculty members in providing advice to students on making future decisions regarding their academic and career paths in STEM fields.
Dr. Osama Qarni, Dean of the Faculty, explained the importance of the  contribution of the Faculty of Education in providing academic support programs for students at the outstanding students School, such as academic guidance and psychological counseling programs, in order to strengthen relations between students and the local community. This is through organizing educational events and activities, which contributes to spread awareness of the importance of education in STEM fields, and the importance of graduate students’ participation in the Faculty of Education in providing school activities as volunteers, which enhances their interaction with students and contributes to develop their personal and professional skills.
