Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, announced the start of training courses for students and graduates at the Center for Educational Training and Consultations at the Faculty of Education, under the supervision of Dr. Osama Mahmoud Korni, Dean of the Faculty, Dr. Ahmed Fikry Bahnasawy, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Environmental Affairs and Community Service, and Dr. Heba Mustafa Mohamed, Director of the Center and lecturer of the course
Dr. Mansour explained that the first course that was implemented is the course "Methods of Teaching Mathematics and Science in a Foreign Language", which aims to provide teachers and students with the strategies and techniques necessary to teach these two subjects effectively, especially in multilingual educational contexts, which also aims to develop language skills and improve students' ability to use foreign languages in mathematics and science contexts
The Dean of the Faculty added that the course follows active learning strategies, and learns about educational methods that encourage active participation, critical thinking, adapting content, and learning how to simplify complex materials and make them understandable for learners in a foreign language. Such courses contribute to providing opportunities to work in international schools and language schools
