President of Beni Suef University: Start of study in the Bachelor of Science in Special Needs and Digital Education Technology program

Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, announced today the start of study in the Bachelor of Science in Special Needs and Digital Education Technology program, after it was approved by the Supreme Council of Universities, University Education Sector Committees (Educational Studies Sector) and approved by University Council No. 235, so that studies will begin in the new academic year 2024/2025 according to the credit hour system at the Faculty of Special Needs Science.
The University President explained that the program comes in light of the directives of His Excellency President / Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, to prepare cadres capable of dealing with people with special needs (the disabled, the geniuses and the mentally superior) and to provide them with the skills of employing digital education technology science in preparing, designing and programming diagnostic tests and measures, training and rehabilitation programs, technology, in light of the technological trend, artificial intelligence, digital transformation and simulation, and smart environments, in addition to meeting the needs of society for scientifically and professionally qualified human cadres in educational technology specializations.
Dr. Walid Farouk, Dean of the College, added that the program aims to prepare specialists to work in the field of digital education technology in the specializations of autism, language and communication disorders, learning difficulties, mental disability, hearing disability, visual disability, and talent and mental excellence, stressing that the college is working to develop and update curricula continuously in line with scientific progress, modern requirements, and labor market needs, and to produce programs, books, and electronic bags for people with special needs.
