President of Beni Suef National University reviews the harvest of the Clinical Psychology Program

Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef National University, reviewed the harvest of the activities and events of the Clinical Psychology Program for the academic year 2023/2024, under the supervision of Dr. Sahar Daoud, Academic Vice President, Dr. Sohair Abdel Basset, Dean of the Arts and Humanities Sector, and Dr. Qayati Ashour, Academic Coordinator of the Program.
Dr. Mansour Hassan confirmed that the program witnessed a distinguished regularity of the educational process over the course of a full academic year, with the application of a periodic follow-up system for the regularity of study, and the inclusion of the latest technological techniques to enhance the educational process, with a focus on effective teaching methods that enhance interaction and participation between students and faculty members.
The University President stressed that the program strives strongly to achieve its distinguished vision through teaching, research and community activities that contribute significantly to graduating generations capable of competing in the labor market, noting that the goal of establishing new programs that differ from the usual traditional specializations is due to responding to the needs of the labor market and keeping pace with contemporary developments in education programs at the international level. We also seek to develop human and material resources, with the aim of preparing graduates capable of competing in the labor market and looking forward to a promising future, continuing progress and development, and achieving success and excellence in all areas of work.
Dr. Qayati Ashour explained that the program aspires to achieve success as a work system, in cooperation with the Arts and Humanities Sector Administration, faculty members, auxiliary staff, administrative staff, student union, student families, departments and supporting entities in the university and the surrounding community. This is to achieve the distinguished vision characterized by its outcomes in teaching, research and community activities. The report included community work and activities, as a delegation of program students participated in a camp to prepare volunteer cadres; to train on implementing the drug prevention program, using modern educational methods, over three days, at the Imbaba Center for Addiction Treatment affiliated with the Fund for Combating and Treating Addiction and Abuse, as well as participating in teaching people with special needs to tie simple ties; for their need in daily life, during a 4-day camp at the Olive Branches Center for Intellectual Advancement. and helping expatriates and residents of Beni Suef to know the location of the electoral committee during the presidential elections, and participating in organizing a blood donation campaign in solidarity with the Palestinian people. Many activities, seminars and scientific visits were also implemented to raise the level of awareness of students in all fields and link theoretical study with practical training, such as organizing seminars on "Political Participation is a National Duty", and others on "Effective Study Skills", and a seminar on "The Importance of Time Management", and a number of scientific field visits such as visiting the nursing home in East of the Nile, the Mental Health Hospital in Beni Suef, and a scientific visit to Beni Suef University Hospital.
