President of Beni Suef University: Launching the website of the International Journal of Biochemistry on the Egyptian Knowledge Bank

Today, Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, chaired the meeting of the Supreme Committee for Scientific Journals, in the presence of Dr. Gamal Abdel Rahman, Vice President of University for Education and Student Sector, Dr. Sameh Al-Maraghi, Vice President of University for Community Service and Environmental Development Sector, and Dr. Tariq Ali, Vice President of University for Graduate Studies and Research Sector, Dr. Maha Ahmed, General Coordinator of Scientific Journals Committee, and members of the Board of Directors.
Dr. Mansour congratulated the launch of the International Journal of Applied Biochemistry website on the Knowledge Bank, and the signing of contracts to make three scientific journals available at the Saudi System House, which are the Research Horizons Journal for Social and Human Sciences, the Scientific Journal for Studies of Digital Media and Public Opinion, and the Scientific Journal for Research on Women, Media and Society, and applying to evaluate these Journals for the first time from the Supreme Council of Universities.
It was also approved to make 11 scientific journals available in the EBSCO database, complementing the 25 journals that were previously listed, and to issue the Egyptian Journal of Aromatic Medicinal Plants, issued by the University’s Medicinal and Aromatic Plants Research Institute, and to approve the vision, mission, goals, and thematic sectors, and approve the formation of the board of directors of the responsible editorial board.
In a separate context, Dr. Mansour Hassan chaired the meeting of the Human Resources Development Center, in the presence of Dr. Gamal Abdel Rahman, Vice President of University for Education and Student Affairs, Dr. Sameh Al-Maraghi, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and Dr. Tariq Ali, Vice President of University for Graduate Studies and Research. Dr. Gamal Abdel Muttalib, Director of Human Resources Development Center, and members of the Board of Directors, where a date has been set for holding a qualification course to work in the university cadre for 80 male and female teaching assistants for a period of three days, following the blessed Eid al-Adha holiday, as well as holding a TOT training course, according to the schedule received from the National Training Center, the first week on (8-9-10) August, and the second week on (15-16-17) August.
In another context, the rules of procedures for accepting international students for the year 2024/2025 were discussed, and the proposal to participate in the Third Gulf Training and Education Exhibition scheduled to be held next September in Dubai to attract the largest possible number of expatriates was discussed. This was during the expatriate management meeting, in the presence of the university’s vice presidents, Dr. Ayman Ghoneim, General Coordinator of Expatriate Management, and members of the Board of Directors.
