“First Aid” workshop at the Faculty of Special Needs Science, Beni Suef University

Under the patronage of Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, Faculty Of Special Needs Science organized a training workshop on first aid, in cooperation with the College of Nursing, under the supervision of Dr. Sameh Al-Maraghi, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Dr. Walid Farouk, Dean of the Faculty of Special Needs Science, Dr. Mohamed Naji, Dean of the College of Nursing, Dr. Mona Kamal, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Special Needs Science for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and Dr. Hanan Al-Zabalawi, Vice Dean of the College of Nursing for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs. The workshop was delivered by Dr. Gamila, the teacher at the Faculty of Nursing, Beni Suef University, in the presence of faculty members, students of the college in the various departments.
The university president explained that the aim of the course is to teach male and female students first aid and artificial respiration, how to deal with cases of fainting and shock, and how to act during accidents and transport the injured. He pointed out that the training focuses on how to deal with emergency cases, a heart attack, sudden airway obstruction, cardiac resuscitation, breathing, wounds, bleeding, burns,and fractures, and the necessary tools that should be in every home, stressing the importance of these workshops and seminars that contribute to developing students’ abilities.
