Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of University, the Faculty of Special Needs Sciences at Beni Suef University organized an awareness symposium entitled “Ethics of University Student,” under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Sameh Al-Maraghi, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Prof. Dr. Walid Farouk Hassan, Dean of the College.
The symposium was attended by Prof. Dr. Walid Farouk, Dean of the College, and Prof. Dr. Mona Kamal, Vice Dean of the College for Community Service Affairs, in the presence of a number of faculty members, supporting staff, and students. The symposium was lectured by Dr. Safaa Ibrahim, lecturer of language and speech disorders at the college.
Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan stressed that the university is keen to organize awareness seminars at various colleges with the aim of spread awareness among students and urging them to participate in volunteer work and community service, stressing the importance of volunteer work for university students and its positive impact that benefits the individual, family and society.
Prof. Dr. Walid Farouk, Dean of the College, stressed the necessity of adhering to ethics and the need for every student, male and female, to embody them, and the importance of these seminars and their role in educating college students in various fields of scientific and practical life and how to adhere to the ethics of the profession of special education specialist and apply them while dealing with children with disabilities and their families. The seminars are part of the Community Service Sector’s plan to hold a series of awareness seminars aimed at raising the professional capabilities of college students.
