The President of Beni Suef University chairs the “Expatriates” and “Project Management” meetings

Today, Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, chaired the meetings of expatriates and the Project Management Unit, in the presence of Dr. Gamal Abdel Rahman, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs Sector, Dr. Sameh Al-Maraghi, Vice President of the University for Community Service Affairs Sector, and Dr. Tariq Ali, Vice President of the University for Graduate Studies and Research Affairs Sector. Dr. Ayman Ghoneim, General Coordinator of Expatriate Management, Dr. Hani Al-Nashar, Director of the Project Management Unit, Mr. Muhammad Salim, Secretary-General of the University, and members of the two Boards of Directors.
Dr. Mansour began the expatriate management meeting by congratulating students who were honored among the top Egyptian universities on the sidelines of the celebration of the launch of the “ICESCO Year of Youth,” which was organized by the Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ICESCO), in cooperation with the Egyptian Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, under the auspices of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, some issues were also discussed related to the decisions of the Secretariat of the Supreme Council of Universities regarding the management of equivalencies, and regarding the application of some students to study at Beni Suef University on a cultural exchange scholarship. The President of the University directed to facilitate the procedures for applying students. He also reviewed during the meeting statistics of the increase of number of incoming students at the university and the extent of the administration’s development during the past period.
During the project management unit meeting, several topics were discussed, including the work of the infrastructure team in industrial education, the development of information transmission channels at the university, and the report on digital transformation tests, where the total number of trainees reached 820, in addition to discussing holding workshops for faculty members, researchers, and students at the university in cooperation with the Egyptian Knowledge Bank, during the 24th and 25th of October, and in cooperation with the Supreme Council of Universities. The work of the electronic scholarship for university books was also discussed through developing an electronic platform for university books at the university and the National University to facilitate student access to scientific material.
