The President of Beni Suef University congratulates an assistant professor at the Faculty of Science for winning a research project worth 2 million pounds

Today, Sunday, Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, congratulated Dr. Hamada Mohamed Mahmoud, Dean of the Faculty of Science, on the occasion of Dr. Zakaria Mohamed Mohamed Abdallah, Assistant Professor, Department of Geology, Faculty of Science, winning a research project in the field of evaluating oil shale deposits of the Cretaceous and Paleocene successions of oil and gas extraction in Kharga and Dakhla Depressions, Western Desert, Egypt, funded by the Science, Technology and Innovation Funding Authority (STDF) of the Egyptian Ministry of Scientific Research, at a value of EGP 2 million.
The President of Beni Suef University stressed that the project is in line with the path of the country's sustainable development plan and Egypt's vision 2030 for the development of mineral resources and their optimal exploitation in the fields of oil and gas extraction and linking scientific research with industry, praising the importance of the project in the field of applied scientific studies and scientific research and increasing the return on the environment and service Community and university researchers.
The research team consists of Dr. Abdel Aziz El-Tantawy, President of New Valley University and scientific advisor for the project, Dr. Ibrahim Abdel-Gayed, Dean of the Faculty of Earth Sciences at Beni Suef University and scientific advisor for the project, Dr. Jubaili Abdel-Maqsoud, Assistant Professor, Department of Geology, Faculty of Science, New Valley University as an alternate researcher, and Dr. Yasser Fleih Salama, Assistant Professor, Department of Geology, Faculty of Science, Beni Suef University, as a researcher on the project, Ms. Samar Ragab Suleiman, Teaching Assistant, Department of Geology, Faculty of Science, Beni Suef University, as a researcher on the project, and Ms. Mayar Khaled Abdel Hamid, Teaching Assistant, Department of Geology, Faculty of Science, New Valley University, as a researcher on the project.
