Beni Suef University is one of the best 300 universities in the world and the fourth locally in "Times" classification

Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, announced today that the university ranked fourth at the level of Egyptian universities, and ranked 251-300 globally, in the British Times Higher Education rankings for the year 2023 for young universities that are less than 50 years old from the date of their establishment as 16 Egyptian universities were included in this classification.

Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan explained that the university was distinguished this year by the increase in number of researches published in international journals, citation rates, and the number of foreign students compared to last year, due to the efforts made to improve the quality of published scientific research, while the university maintained the same values in the criterion of international relations. The university also made remarkable progress this year in terms of income from industry compared to last year, pointing out that the university is characterized by the presence of new faculties and institutes specialized in interdisciplinary and modern Science, which led to an increase in the number of faculty members within the university.
Prof. Dr. Sama Al-Daq, Office of International Classification and Sustainable Development, indicated that Times classification depends on five main indicators, including a number of detailed sub-criteria in the fields of education, including educational environment, research, volume of published researches, income from scientific research, reputation, citations and international relations and industry income.
