Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, announced the inclusion of Beni Suef University among the top 200 universities in the world in achieving the second and seventh goals of the sustainable development goals according to the 2023 THE-Impact ranking, and it advanced 100 ranks in the first goal, and we advanced 200 ranks in the second and fifth goals Compared to last year, the goals appeared for the first time in the sixth, thirteenth and fourteenth of the top 300 in the world.
The university obtained an evaluation from 101-200 in the second and seventh goals, an evaluation from 201-300 in the sixth, thirteenth and fourteenth goals, an evaluation from 301-400 in the first and fifth goals, and an evaluation of 401-600 in the fifth, twelfth and sixteenth goals. And the seventeenth, and an evaluation of 601-800 in the third, eighth, ninth, tenth and eleventh goals, and an evaluation of 1000 in the fourth goal.
  The President of the University explained that this classification depends on the standards of real and documented participation in the university's activities related to the achievement of the seventeen sustainable development goals as one of the indicators of success in advancing the role of the university in developing the surrounding community. The classification is also considered the leading initiative to recognize universities around the world in terms of social impact. and economic.
For her part, Dr. Sama Al-Daq, Director of the Office of International Classification and Sustainable Development, emphasized that this achievement is the result of the concerted efforts of everyone and the interest in training in international publishing and motivating researchers of various academic degrees to publish in prestigious international journals, and providing full technical support to complete the work related to the ranking of the university in international classifications different annually.
