The EFT team at the College of Science qualified for the semi-finals in the global Hult Prize competition

Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, announced that the EFT scientific team at the Faculty of Science has qualified as a representative of the university in the global Hult Prize competition, which was carried out in cooperation with the Ministry of Higher Education, the “Egypt Summit for Community Investment Projects” launched by the Innovators and Talents Fund, where the competition included competition between 200 A thousand participants around the world and 700 projects from different countries, and in Egypt among all Egyptian public, private and private universities, 11 teams from 10 different universities were promoted, including the EFT team representing Beni Suef University, where 3 universities will be chosen from them to win the competition, The international winners will be promoted to represent the Arab Republic of Egypt in the regional finals, then the final competition for the international Hult Prize and the competition for funding of one million US dollars.
The President of the University congratulated those in charge of the College of Science, headed by Dr. Hamada Mohamed Mahmoud, Dean of the College, and the winning team, expressing his great pride in the successive achievements and honorable positions achieved by the faculty members, researchers, and students of the College of Science.
It should be noted that the scientific team included Dr. Muhammad Shaaban, Professor of Physics, Dr. Rana Saad Saeed, Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Physics, Researcher Muhammad Jamal Al-Din Muhammad Kurdi, and students Hadeer Hamada Ahmed, Reem Hassan Hussein, Ahmed Hamad Lamloum, and Khaled Muhammad Fawzi, Abdul Rahman Ali Fathi, Mahmoud Muhammad Abdul Ghani, where the team is working on discovering solutions that are environmentally friendly, such as manufacturing naturally dyed and environmentally friendly clothes Eco-Friendly Textile dye.
