Politics and Economics Beni Suef won third place in the Debating Club League at the level of Egyptian universities

Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, announced that the Faculty of Politics and Economics team won the third place in the Debating Club League at the level of Egyptian universities, which was held in Alexandria Governorate, under the supervision of Dr Dr. Naglaa Bakr, Dean of the College, and Dr. Muhammad Nour Al-Basrati, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs
Dr. Mansour explained that the Debating Club League is one of the components of the Y-LEAD Dorna program, which is implemented in cooperation between the Development Services Center and the Watan Development Association, “The Watan Project,” which aims to enhance community participation for young men and women, so that they become active citizens who play leadership roles in the public sphere. In light of the new republic and the realization of Egypt's vision 2030, in partnership with the Center for Political and Strategic Studies at Assiut University New Valley University, Faculty of Politics and Economics at the University of Beni Suef, Suez and Alexandria, where each university participated with 4 teams and each team consisted of 3 students, so the total number of teams participating in the league was 20 teams
Dr. Mansour congratulated the winning students, stressing the importance of this type of activity because it motivates them to research, study and collect as much information as possible Thus, gaining full confidence in yourself and your conviction of your opinion and your ability to defend it, as student activities represent an essential axis of university education, due to the great role it plays in forming the student’s personality and developing it in its various mental, psychological and social aspects, as well as contributing to entertaining students in the period of Studying and helping to acquire many skills
