The Council of Beni Suef University, headed by Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of the University, in its session No. 219, approved the proposals of the Faculty of Agriculture regarding Holding a training course entitled recycling farm waste and making compost (organic fertilizer) as an alternative fertilizer to mineral fertilizers, in the presence of university vice-presidents, deans of faculties and members of the council
Dr. Mansour explained that the aim of this session is to convey the concept of clean agriculture and how to apply it, by defining the different methods of managing agricultural waste for economic and environmental benefit from it, clarifying the risks of burning it, and a practical explanation of how to make and use organic fertilizer to reduce the use of chemical fertilizers, indicating that the course It lasts two days, and includes 15 outstanding students from the first stage of the college students
