Beni Suef University Council agrees to organize a cultural and artistic event to celebrate World Book Day

The Council of Beni Suef University, headed by Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of the University, agreed, in its session No. 219, to organize the Faculty of Arts for a   cultural, religious, and artistic celebration on the occasion of the World Book Day, next April, in the presence of university vice-presidents, college deans, and council members
The President of the University explained that the World Book Day, which is held on April 23 of each year to celebrate writers and authors around the world, to highlight the status of authors and the importance of books at the global level
To encourage people in general, and young people in particular, to discover the joy of reading and to respect the unique contributions made by writers who pushed forward the social and cultural progress of humanity. Adding that the university is keen to inculcate the value and importance of books and knowledge among students and organize cultural events in various faculties
