The Faculty of Tourism and Hotels at Beni Suef University organizes a symposium for the students of Ali Mubarak Experimental School within the initiative "Know the Antiquities of Your Country"
Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of University and under the supervision of Dr. Sameh Al-Maraghi, Vice President of University for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Dr. Ghada Ali Hammoud, Dean of the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels, the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels organized a symposium for students of Ali Mubarak Experimental School within the framework of the “Know the Antiquities of Your Country” initiative and spreading tourism awareness among schoolchildren in Beni Suef Governorate.
Prof. Dr. Mansour said that the symposium targeted school’s students, as it included information on defining the tourist and its importance, defining Egyptian tourism patterns, tourist attractions and archaeological sites in Egypt’s tourist areas, and defining the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels, its departments, specializations, and fields of work for the college’s graduates.
The President of Beni Suef University indicated that the symposium comes within the framework of the initiative "Know the Antiquities of Your Country" after it was launched by the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels at the beginning of the current academic year, which includes a series of seminars, lectures, meetings and trips that are organized with the aim of spreading tourism awareness in Beni Suef Governorate.
Dr. Ghada Hammoud, Dean of the Faculty, explained that the symposium was delivered by Dr. Nahla Muhammad, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, in the presence of officials of the Directorate of Education. The symposium comes within the framework of cooperation between Beni Suef University represented by the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels and the Directorate of Education in the governorate under the supervision of Mr. Muhammad Abdel Tawab, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education, to spread tourism awareness among the students of Beni Suef schools in the preparatory and secondary stages.
