Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, announced the opening of the exhibitions of the Faculty of Agriculture within the activities of the Environmental Week, under the supervision of Dr. Sameh El-Maraghy, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, Dr. Hossam Hussein, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, and Dr. Mustafa Qutb, Vice-Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, In the presence of the faculty members and administrators of the college, in the presence of a remarkable number of students.
Dr. Mansour explained that the exhibitions varied between an exhibition of food products such as honey, jam, yogurt, rice with milk, pickles and perfumes, an exhibition of detergents and disinfectants, an exhibition of ornamental plants and aromatic plants, and an exhibition of student projects devised by the students of the college, aiming at reusing waste water to irrigate agricultural lands in the vicinity of the college. The project is unique because it crystallizes the university's ideology to make it among the green and environmentally friendly universities on the ground in line with the state's policy and global trends to preserve the environment due to the impressive results it achieves in addition to its manufacture of environmentally friendly and inexpensive materials, in addition to the presence of vital fertilizers that were synthesized in the college To increase the productivity of agricultural lands and improve their quality, the agricultural greenhouse located in the college area was also inspected.
