Faculty of Navigation Science and Space Technology at Beni Suef University participates in the Egypt Entrepreneurship Rally competition

Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, the Faculty of Navigation Science and Space Technology participated in the launch of the activities of Egypt Entrepreneurship Rally 2023 competition, in its sixth edition, at the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport in Alexandria, under the supervision of Dr. Osama Shalabiya, Dean of the Faculty, and Dr. Heba Abdel Halim, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs
Prof. Dr. Mansour explained that the participating delegation included Dr. Ahmed Badawi Yasen, assistant lecturer at the college and contact official with the academy, and 8 students as rally ambassadors at the university, pointing out that this competition is one of the most important competitions that support university students, entrepreneurs and innovation owners in Egypt. It aims to develop students’ intellectual skills and spread awareness among them about the concepts and importance of entrepreneurship, and encourages students at the university level to establish their own emerging projects, stressing that the participating delegation received specialized training in the field of entrepreneurship in preparation for applying for the final competition, to create many opportunities for students in presenting their project ideas to investors and businessmen in various sectors and obtaining valuable financial prizes.
Dr. Osama Shalabiya, Dean of the Faculty, indicated that this is not the first time that Beni Suef University and the Faculty of Navigation Science and Space Technology have participated in this competition, as it has already participated three times before, indicating that last year two projects from the university reached the finals, one of which was submitted by students of the faculty and the second was joint between the Faculties of Computers and Information and Commerce, wishing the university to achieve one of the first positions this year, stressing the keenness of the university president to support the college as it is the first of its kind in Egypt and the Middle East.
