Applied Health Science Technology in Beni Suef organizes a symposium on suicide in cooperation with the Ministry of Social Solidarity

Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Beni Suef University, the Faculty of Applied Health Science organized a symposium entitled "Suicide" in cooperation with the Ministry of Social Solidarity, under the supervision of Dr. Al-Hussein Dahshan, Dean of the Faculty, in the presence of Dr. Al-Mahi Muhammad Hassan, Vice Dean for Environmental Affairs and Community Service, Dr. Bakkar Abdel-Halim, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, Dr. Muhammad Saidan Mubarak, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies, and Mr. Muhammad Saad, Director General of Northern Upper Egypt Media at the State Information Service affiliated to the Presidency of the Republic.
Prof. Dr. Mansour stressed that spreading religious and social awareness of the problem of suicide, and its social and psychological dimensions, is one of the most important ways to confront and overcome it through positive practices that enable the individual to maintain psychological balance. Islam makes self-preservation from the purposes of Sharia and the crime of transgression against it, and social participation and volunteering in charitable work through civil society institutions, and participation in educational seminars and sports, social, cultural and recreational activities are among the most important factors that work to develop and achieve positive aspects.
The symposium dealt with the concept of suicide in general, its causes, and the motives that lead to it, which may be due to family, social, emotional, or psychological factors.
